Well I have to agree with where you're coming from to some extent Titan. I had the benefit of a vision in a basque who must have been a size 30
and sometimes too much heckling is a pain but the show itself is a scream and extremely well produced. All five of the leads have fantastic voices and each of them have their roles spot on.

........I was eyes front.........much better view than I got from looking at the audience

Not quite sure where some of you are coming from. I've seen it twice, in Wimbledon and Birmingham with very enthusiastic audiences. It's isn't a 'family' show so no place for a 10 year old. The hecklers shouting 'asshole' and 'slut' and the like is part of the show. It's getting very good reviews and all the cast are very strong, in particular, Oliver Thornton, Kristian Lavecombe, Rhydian and Ben Forster.
Many of the die hard Rocky Horror fans are saying it's the best production so far.
I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would disagree that not many people enjoyed it.

Thank you Poster J for those clips, I was very pleased to get a litle insight.
On the whole I would say it's very difficult to get a real flavour as clips are notorious for giving the viewer/listener an impression which seeing the film in its entirity changes dramatically.
On the face of it the star of the fillm for me is by far Anne Hathaway. I'm pretty underwhelmed by Russell Crowe but I admit I have never been a fan of his. Perhaps my mind will be changed on seeing the movie. Hugh Jackman's acting is suberb but again he isn't hitting my buttons vocally. It's difficult because a movie is a totally different ball park to the stage.
I can hardly hear Marius but Amanda Seyfried is working for me despite the fact I am not over fond of Cosette's role.
I would go and see this for Anne Hathwaway alone. She really blows me away on every level, very much looking forward to seeing the whole film now

Good voice but comes over as very up himself which is offputting.....at least he did when I saw him onstage.
