International Theatre Lab in Norway offers SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES for creative young individuals with a passion for theatre. The internship program aims to provide selected applicants with valuable mentorship and training in theatre, as well as leave room for development of personal and entrepreneurial skills.
WE ARE SEEKING committed enthusiastic individuals to join our team for a full-time summer internship at our Theatre Centre in Bjørke, Norway. The duration of the internship will be three months or less, with a minimum of one month, between June and August 2012. During this period, the interns will be exposed to intensive theatre training and creation, and will be sharing duties with staff members that include marketing, administration, community outreach and housekeeping.
CONDITIONS OF INTERNSHIP: Internships are to be viewed as a training opportunity and are unpaid. However, we cover accommodation and meals for the selected applicants. Travel expenses remain the responsibility of the intern.
REQUIREMENTS: The applicants must have good written and oral communication skills in English. Some background in performing, communications, marketing, and/or graphic design is an advantage. We appreciate creative initiative, drive, an open mind and a sense of humor, and the desire to take on the challenges of rural life in our beautiful, but remote location.
WE ACCEPT rolling applications for as long as spaces are available. Please fill out and submit the online application form on http://www.internati...nternships-2012
We look forward to hearing from you!
