Can A 'straight' Actor Play A Gay Character

10 November 2012 - 12:33 PM

Well, Freddie Fox is totally convincing as Bosie, in the wonderful Judas Kiss, although the Play is Rupert Everett's as Oscar Wilde. Utterly compelling, my attention was drawn to him in every scene. It is a quite mesmerising performance, of sardonic wit and pathos, and one you will remember for a very long time. Take the nudity for what it is and concentrate on the performances. A brilliant  production seen at The Richmond Theatre last week. If you can't see it on tour. Do so when it goes into 'Town'.
