Shrek Musical Song Question
25 April 2013 - 05:46 PM
Not a relevant topic as it has now closed, but does anybody know why 'Forever' has been omitted from the London and Broadway cast recordings? In my mind it is the finest song from the show. Is is available anywhere ?
Really Useful Group

Isn't it about high time you can select your own seats in this group of theatres when booking online?
These must be the only major theatres where the option to do so is not available.
If places like the Donmar and Menier can do it why not these big west end houses?
Any thoughts? Perhaps we should campaign.

This year is dedicated to Hal Prince and looks really good. Has anybody been to one of these events before?
One Monkey Don't Stop No Show - Tricycle Theatre
17 January 2013 - 11:22 AM
Saw this last night and left with mixed feelings. There were some great performances, Karl Collins and Jocelyn Jee Esien together are a comical delight, and Jocelyn delivers some great lines and had everyone in bits with her malapromisms. A few scenes drag on quite a bit, mainly with Beverly and Caleb, which doesn't really rest with the sit-com atmosphere they have created, with canned laughter and 'on air' signs. Overall an enjoyable evening but not as funny or outrageous as I might have hoped.
Beautiful Thing

This is playing a limited run from April for it's 20th anniversary. Anyone planning to see it?
It is a favourite of mine but cannot imagine Suranne Jones as Sandra, she has never appealed to me.
