Twice for me - 5 of us at the Tabard (including two parents) and WE were given a round applause from the cast! A Cole Porter musical too.
Second was at the Landor - 7 in all including two parents.
I feel really sorry for actors having to put on a professional performance under these circumstances - they must have strong resolution to keep going sometimes.
The Guiness book of Records contains an entry for the lowest audience - zero. This was apparently for a recital in AUstralia.

This is terribly sad news for all of the thousands of people who have enjoyed shows there.
The short sightedness of landlords amazes me. What are they proposing to do with these railway arches? A few more coffee shops to add to the score or so already there? Offices? With heaven knows how many million sq. feet of unoccupied offices?
My best wishes to Sasha and all the others and hope they can continue - I'm sure that there is enough goodwill out there to support them in the future.

I am not a Friend at the National Theatre, but like many I wanted to see this production. I logged on to the national website on March 8th out of curiosity to check availability and was surprised to see that they had tickets for sale on the dates mentioned in one of the posts above. I got tickets for the 5th July so I suppose I was lucky.
My advice to people here is to keep looking at the national web site and check availability for sold out productions - they frequently have tickets on offer.

I found myself seated next to a young Chinese lady at The Captain of Kopenick, and she checked her phone about 10 minutes into the performance. Upon the THIRD viewing - about 15 minutes later - I took the opportunity to peer over her shoulder and attempt to read the messages (if any). This led to her checking it away from my view. She managed SEVEN viewings during the first Act. At the Interval she and her friend departed, which fits in with my theory that much phone checking is a symptom of some kind of nervous disorder and /or the phone checker is bored with whatever they are watching or not doing at the time.!

But a hell of a lot of coughing IS optional - it frequently indicated that the cougher is (a) bored and/or (
immature.
There is a comment somewhere from Ralph Richardson about acting being the art of preventing people from coughing etc.
Just go to the Royal Festival Hall for a Claissical Concert and listen to the coughing - it seems to be manufactured just for the occasion.
