Rather good this one:
New Nick Payne play, though no James Corden is seems.
The Same Deep Water as Me, with Monica Dolan, Peter Forbes, Joanna Griffin, Nigel Lindsay, Daniel Mays and Niky Wardley. Director John Crowley.
Then Arnold Wesker's Roots, starring the wonderful Jessica Raine, alongside Linda Bassett, Michael Jibson, and Emma Stansfield. Director James Macdonald.
Then finally Josie Rourke directs Coriolanus, with Tom Hiddleston and Mark Gatiss.

The American Plan

Diana Quick stars in Richard Greenberg's (Take Me Out, Three Days of Rain) The American Plan, a production by David Grindley transferring from the Ustinov in Bath to the St James, in July.
Has had v good reviews, inc a rare 5* from Billington. In Bath Emily Taaffe was also in it. Hope she transfers too, as I rather like her.

Saw this advertised in one of the NT programmes yesterday. At the Park Theatre- a brand new venue in Finsbury Park. I'd heard of it, but hadn't a clue that they'd announced their first season etc.
Anyway, one of the shows is a new play by the actor Oliver Cotton (currently in Passion Play) dir by David Grindley, starring Maureen Lipman. Am tempted to book for this on the basis of how much I enjoyed Old Money at the Hampstead earlier this year. Top price is £22.50. The seating plan looks like a replica of the Donmar.

I've just booked:
Running from 5th July for a month.
A Royal Court production, performed in a community centre in Haggerston.
Play by Annie Baker, winner of the Best New Play OBIE award in 2010.
James Macdonald directs, cast includes (here's the exciting bit) Imelda Staunton and Toby Jones.
