Latercomer, yes, they were a bit teary-eyed, weren't they? Given the closing, how could they not be? I don't want to go into detail, but it seemed like a three-barrelled teary ending. The audience was subdued, too. Truly a touching play. Very glad I saw it. Lucky you got a box! Sitting in the tight seats, I was wondering how to get a box for future plays I may be lucky enough to attend.

Lucky as they announced this perfromance a lot later, and I'd had to give my bargain £10 seat to someone else due to illness, so I nipped on and booked and boxes were available so I treated myself and a friend whose ambition was always to sit in a box! She loved it!

All of those were within walking distance of his office

Caught both in one day, and blimey it's an experience I'll remember (aptly) for a long time.  A near unqualified rave tomorrow after a good night's sleep, but for now just a quick but huge thank you to Pharoah and Latecomer for the seat recommendations - I bought pillar seats, and they're pretty much unimpeded stalls tickets for £10.  Given that I had to buy 4 tickets (went with a friend twice in one day - it adds up) it really helped, and next time I go (likely alone) I'll book one of those again.  Thanks!

They're also negotiating for a show where one of the Hausmanns marries one of the Rosenbergs.

I heard that they're going to acknowledge the bitter as well as the sweet with a one-off show "Framned By Despair".

Went to the Press Night on Wednesday and it came down at 10.40pm with an 8pm start, so yes, it's pretty accurate. Loved the show, btw. :-)

When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?     Translation : Manchester
When the hurlyburly ’s done,
When the battle ’s lost and won.    Translatiom : When we have captured tickets

It zoomed straight over my head, I'm sticking to blowsy musicals, preferably set in the 1930's http://www.frontrowd...thursday-8.html

Bit late in my reporting back, but boy did this live up to the hype. It was really just beautiful and worked seamlessly well. I somehow managed to repeatedly miss Jerusalem so cannot compare this to Butterworth's previous effort, but I can say that he has written a moving, funny and thought-provoking play that just flows perfectly. Brilliant performances as well, highly recommended.

I enjoyed this a lot. Completely won over by Dominic West - very well cast and acted.
Front row seats seemed uncomfortable for some reason...slippery?
Good to see this after All That Fall....had same sort of feel to it....
Can't say more without spoiling it but enjoyable and very glad I went! B)

I agree with Epicoene. It's where they've come from and what they've done previously that excites me.

Let's hope people don't just go to productions there because of their reputations...let's hope that they really study each play and check that they are going for the right reasons....
