Two versions at the Adelphi were enough for me.  No way I would see a third version.
I saw it five times at the Adelphi and each time it was sooooo different! lol

Hi,

I was just wondering if anybody knows a good online shop (uk) that sells ready made frames (preferably black, but not essential) for west end theatre folio type posters. I.e 32cm x 51cm.

I think dress circle used to do them but looking at the website they don't anymore. i have about 5 theatre posters I would like to frame for a reasonable price.

I don't really want to go to the extra expense of having them all handmade although I do know a shop that would probably do then for about £25 each.

I spent quite a lot of time searching the web but can't find anywhere that sells ready made frames of that size. They are either standard A sizes or only available as "made to order".

Thanks.

Hi,

I can't imagine Dress Circle doesn't do them anymore...they are still open in Monmouth Street but now everything is on one level... why don't you give them a call 0207 240 2227, they have always done the black poster frames and fit perfectly although they are not cheap!

Good Luck

Hi Everybody,

Went to see this today (matinee) Heather has been told to rest! so Gloria  Onitri was the alternative Rachel Marron, she certainly has a great voice, never seen Heather before so cannot compare. As for the the show.... l think its going to be a bit like Marmite  ... your either gonna love it or hate it! Have to say l know its still in previews but l found the guy who plays Frank Farmer, LLoyd Owen shows no personality at all and in my opinion wrong for the part... but hey that's just my opinion. The show started 10 minutes late - l have to be honest... during the first half l kept asking myself was l going to stay or leave in the interval..... l stayed... cos l had paid to much to leave! l sort of enjoyed it.....didn't leave the theatre singing the songs...just wanted to get home... so l guess that says it all.... .sometimes, films should be left as films and not transferred onto stage... !

Best wishes

HI

I saw "Scrooge" with Tommy Steele when it was at Wimbledon Theatre last year, l have to say it was the Albert Finney version, word for word, which l love in the film but not with Tommy Steele! just my opinion!

Best wishes

there's big chunks given over to Fraulein Schneider with her  never ending song,  and Fraulein Kost - who didn't  seem necessary at all...... totally agree with this... it seemed to go on... and on .. and on!
