but in that she was well rested, singing defying gravity 8 times a week is hard. leave her alone. she's doing a great job i think

i'd also love to see tucker come back but i reckon she may come back for 10th anniversary cast...

yes he posted about a band, the responses are still there of people saying they're surprised he has time to listen to a band whilst he's busy breaking his family apart.. he must have taken it down. and still no statement from either gina or him. you'd hope that given the people they're hurting they would post something in the way of an apology instead of coward behind silence till it all "goes away". i've lost so much respect for gina and him i'd rather wait till cast change till i go back again.

sorry i disagree. its all over twitter. her fiance made it clear he did not like ben. and yes, you CAN help who you fall for. when you're working with them for no more than a couple of months and they've a child and a wife you can bloody well hold back.

#251431 Rent In Concert - Kerry Ellis/Rory Taylor

Posted harveyjnr on 09 January 2013 - 09:32 PM

Yeah but it's Kerry Ellis. What the character is, and what type of voice is required is not required when it comes to her. God that she is . Note the not so subtle sarcasm.

So it's being insinuated by @westendproducer that Moulin Rouge is to one to The O2 arena next year!
Suggestions for satine have of course been rolling in. People's favourites so far have been Sheridan Smith, Samantha Barks, Sabrina Aloueche, Sabrina Carter, Kerry Ellis!

What are your opinions and also for the rest of the cast too?

Yes. She left wicked London after an amazing run. She's having a baby and then when the baby is a few months old she's going back to wicked again. To tour. Ahem. 😳

Oh and yes to Stuart Matthew price. And Kerry Ellis. I'd love to see them both sing on Friday. 😍

Is David hunter annoying anyone else? It's like him, Nathan James, a few others.. They've been in the industry for all of two seconds get on tv for a few minutes and are suddenly mates with all the old school board treaders of the west end lead circuit! Getting penned down for all the latest jobs and concerts. Personally if they've not sweated/died or cried on a west end stage i am not interested! Too much hype over actual talent and hard work.

#241630 Rent- London

Posted harveyjnr on 20 October 2012 - 02:12 PM

Has to be said Sabrina Aloueche's Maureen is completely on par with Idina Menzels. What an utter joy. A riviting actress with immense comedy timing and what a voice.
Other standout performances include Carlton Connell Collins. Pure soul.
Tori Allen Martyn's Mimi- fragile and defiant. Again, beautiful vocals.
And newcomer John Mcrea's angel. Tragic and simply stunning. It's hard to feel sorry for him for his character portrayal is such a positive one.

This fringe production of Rent is a must-see folks.

Admittedly it's not completely perfect but worth seeing alone for those stand out performances.
