yes inspite of the women baying for flesh, most of the tender intimate moments worked, as best they can in the barn of the Lowry with most of the cast having to shout at lot. Stunning set with many surprises, cleverly adapted and lots of great physical stunts. And one amazing prosthetic.

oh yes the brilliant Betty Blue Eyes - such a great show - darn I now have those wonderful songs in my head. There's no pig in the house!

oh The Pirate Queen - some of the music is great but what the heck are they doing to Queen Elizabeth? Talk about panto! Yes Carrie, and I have fond memories of the bizarre experience that was Metropolis - some great score and Brian Blessed blowing up, twice on a Saturday.

I'm not sure what's not to make sense in this play - all made perfect sense to me. Loved it so much, and I am still boring everyone senseless about it.
