If we had to choose a broadway pairing for such a special recording, I think I'd possibly go for Annaleigh Ashford as Glinda and Mandy Gonzalez as Elphaba (even though both have never played along each other (as least to my knowledge)).

I really hope they'll release a special recording to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary, as I was quite disappointed by the album for the 5th (being the OBCR plus a few songs from other language cast recordings).
Perhaps even a full length live recording...
