Very excited that the Royal Albert Hall has today opened booking for The Night of 1000 Stars, billed as a sister event to The Night of 1000 Voices, which will take place at 8pm on Sunday 5 May 2013.

The previous Royal Albert Hall shows have taken place in 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2012, so it's great news that another one is happening in 2013!

Due to rights issues, the West Side Story Balcony scene from last month's John Wilson prom (performed by Sierra Boggess and Julian Ovenden) was not included in the BBC Two broadcast on Saturday 1 September.
However, the kind BBC team has today made it available online. Divine!
