Wow that is awful, I saw a show in Newcastle some years ago and was sitting in the front row, the woman next to me had her phone go off but she not only pretended like nothing, she looked around and at ME like it was my phone. I had to stifle a serious urge to grab her handbag (with the phone in it) and stomp it to death. In hindsight I wish I had.

I was so impressed by the whole event - thought it would be about 3 hours of teams walking in, but no. Very,very well done even if it cost taxpayers a bunch.

Time for the athlethes to march in - will probably to a couple of hours before we get to the end of the ceremony if previous years are to go anything by but the commentators seem to think that it will a bit quicker. Who knows?
