#264085 Famous People You've Seen In The Audience

Harriet Walter (though lots of people look like Harriet Walter) and a very enthusiastic Bill Nighy (no-one looks like Bill Nighy) at the My Perfect Mind matinee yesterday.  Also two seats set aside for a "B Cox" but the people who occupied those seats were neither a great Scottish actor nor a physician, so go figure.
Harriet Walter was Harriet Vane to Petherbridge's Lord Peter Wimsey. Bill Nighy had to push past me in a row once, long ago but never forgotten ;)

Went tonight and the returns queue was empty - hardly surprising given the awful weather - but the theatre was packed. Nearly didn't bother to go myself as a long cold trek but so glad I did, thought it was absolutely brilliant. I can see that it isn't everyone's cup of tea but you couldn't fault the production values and the acting was superb - Tamsin Greig always does it for me and well matched here with Ian Glen, even the minor parts very well done. Agree with the critic (can't remember which) who said it would be great to see the whole cast (+ creatives) do a 'proper' Chekhov.

I think they hold back a few for sale in person, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

From the Royal Court website:

A very limited number of tickets for £10 Monday will be available on the day of each perf from 9am online. These have been selling-out within seconds. Due to high demand for Constellations, an additional twenty £10 Monday tickets will be released at 10am for in-person customers at the Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square. Customers can book up to 2 tickets each and early queuing is advisable.

I imagine this will transfer now, hopefully so. But - bees, quantum physics? Haven't we been here before (Humble Boy?)
