Dear all,
I am going to the Old Vic on Saturday to see the Entertainer. Have decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. Does anyone have any recommendations of pre-theatre restaurants in the vicinty? I need to pick up the tickets from the Box Office so preferably not too far.
Thanks!

In the Old Vic is a Med Kitchen? Which is good for chain
On The Cut is the Hope and Anchor & The Ring both of which are really good. I also hear the restauarant in the Young Vic is really good but haven't tried it yet.
Just off the Cut is Baltic on Blackfriars Road. This is really nice and they do three courses for £17. The food is yummy.
All of these are within 5 minutes walking distance of the Old Vic
www.toptable.co.uk is really good for reviews and for discounts codes

There's about 10 restaurants in the Cut within 5 minutes walk of the Old Vic and several more on Waterloo Road. Some are very cheap - notably the Chinese restaurant next to the Windmill (which does good Thai food but can be quite noisy if it's a match day!) on the Cut. You shouldn't have any problems finding somewhere nice.
