[Highlander]

Does anyone know who the Footloose understudies are for the main characters in the UK tour. Also do they announce when someone is off?! Thanks!x

Understudies are as follows
Ren - is played by Gavin Alex on Friday Matinees, and assume when Tommy is off, also Matthew Boulton, Bob Harms
Ariel - Melissa Green, Lisa Gorgin
Chuck - Rory Locke, Gavin Alex, Bob Harms
Willard - Johnny Shentall, Ian Gareth-Jones
Travis - Rory Locke,   Ian Gareth-Jones
Vi - Nicky Belsher, Leanne Harwood
Rev - Hugh Osborne, Julian Essex Spurrier

( this is taken from the Reading brochure).  Have never heard announcements but there is usually signs up at the box office.    Why?

When I went to reading and cardiff they both did announcements...

Had Soeli on as Urleen in Reading
Had Gemma W on as Wendy-Jo in Cardiff

Tommy is now off injured for anything upto 3 months - he has had to have an op on his knee.

So Gav will be Ren for 7 shows a week, Matthew the other

Derek Hough is coming back for 6 weeks from the 23rd April. He will do 6 shows a week, Gav will do the other 2. The shows Derek aint doing are Wednesday and Friday Matinee

Julian Essex-Spurrier is going to be replaced by Tim Newman
