I'm currently studying British Variety Theatre from around 1919 - 1960 at University. This week we have been asked to conduct an interview with someone who visited a Variety show between 1919 and 1960-ish... Just to help me along, I thought I'd ask on here if anyone used to visit variety theatres in their youth or as a child and they had any specific memories about the theatre going experience as a whole or a specific act?
