Matt has grown to be my favourite Fiyero out of the 3 I have seen. He really grew into the role and I actually believe he was a bit of a rebel unlike Mark or Lee's portrayal. His singing has improved loads aswell.

I didn't like his Fiyero at all, thought his dancing, singing and acting were all weak.  If that's his singing improved then I'm glad I didn't go at the start of his run as it didn't seem to have much energy or light and shade at all sadly.  I can well believe his Fiyero was a rebel, but I didn't believe his falling in love with Elphaba, which most other Fiyeros, Mark especially, have made really believable.  As Long As You're Mine should be emotional and passionate and it wasn't.

But it's all personal preference of course, and he did have good chemistry with Gina I thought, plus they both continued acting when the focus wasn't on them (like when they're standing to the side at the Ozdust ballroom), which is always a plus!

With people saying that Rachel will be doing 7 shows per week up until Cast Change, would it be reasonable to think that Wednesday 24th Matinee could be Nikki's last show?

Maybe - but then again it's Rachel's final week so she may choose to do all the shows

Very true.  I may make the trip down anyway.  Don't think I'll be able to get down on the Saturday.  Nikki's last/one of Rachel's last would be a very good compensator for missing cast change!

Can't believe cast change is so close now. On one had I will be absolutely gutted on the night that Rachel is leaving, I'm really really going to miss her playing Elphaba. But then on the other hand I'm glad that Louise is taking it on, it seems so right, do you know what I mean? I'm really looking forward to hearing Louise belt out those big songs, especially No Good Deed!

Me and my wife saw the show and met Rachel, Gina and Matt at the stage door after the evening performance and this time we are taking the kids too. They are really looking forward to meeting Louise, Gina, Katie and the rest of the cast. After the matinee performance, do the cast come out like they do after the evening performance?

I can't speak for them or say for definite but I'd say it's far less common for them to come out after matinees, especially the leads.
