So when does Jackie's contact run out on Broadway? If it's October/November time, it's a possibility... but I doubt it. Kerry Ellis seemed to struggle within about a month of playing on Broadway, she herself even referred to the NY company as being like a "well-oiled machine" and very easy to slip off, it's my hunch that casting producers are quite wary of that and might want to source new (or recycled) talent closer to home.
Obviously I'd take the 'may be back in green' comment with a sizeable pinch of salt - it could mean literally anything, and even then it could just refer to her wish to return to the role at some point in the future.
As a side note, I thought it had long been the case that regional UK theatres were not large enough to house Wicked, unless some serious scaling-down is carried out? Unless they're going for a long sit-down run, perhaps in Manchester and then on to only 3 or 4 other theatres?

isn't she bored, 4 years playing the same role? i'd have thought as an actress she'd want to try new things? wish her all the best any way
4 years? That would be impressive! She's been there just over 2.
I agree with the Broadway comments, I think she'd need a decent break rather than doing a Kerry and flying straight out there!

not necessarily, Broadway contracts are often a lot shorter, Kerry only did 5-6 months out there. Sorry, not trying to split hairs, this might be a pointless conversation anyway as has already been said I'm taking her comment with a pinch of salt!

If there was to be a tour only places like Manchester, Liverpool Edinburgh,Cardiff, Dublin, Southampton could possibly hold the current show. A scaled down version is more likely. But if you consider places currently holding Les Mis, Phantom, Oliver tours they could host this on a smaller scale. They are big productions themselves.
Although this tour rumour has been doing the rounds for years. It certainly wouldnt affect the London show as other tours have proved. I would say advance sales would be huge.

The Lion King launching its first UK tour and it's a big production based on the US tour, given that Wicked already tours in the US and most productions worldwide use a touring set, it wouldn't be too hard to do a UK tour of Wicked, keep in mind that the Apollo Victoria stage is a lot smaller compared to a lot of theatres of its capacity so I imagine it'll easily play Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol etc

Either Broadway or she has been asked to do te tour
I doubt she's been asked to do Broadway, and definitely don't think she'd do the tour (even if she's been asked). Just my opinion.
