Maybe because Rachel is leaving they want to give her a good go at WEL. I've never been, do u have to have tickets or what ? Is it in Trafalgar Square ?

Yes it's in Trafalgar Square.  No tickets, but obviously the earlier you show up the closer to the front you get to be.  I queued from about 9 last year and ended up right at the front.

I definitely think Sabrina has a very high chance of being the next Elphaba. The fact that she's already great friends with Gina is a bonus! Strangely, I can't think of any other potential future Elphie performers, at the moment. Obviously, I'd love it if Nikki got promoted as she's my favourite Elphie, but the chances of that happening are almost close to zero. Sam Barks would be good, but definitely not any time soon. She's only 20 I believe, and I think she'd get a lot better and be more prepared for the high demands of the role in 4-5 years time.

I'm sure there will be! Something went a bit wrong at the start of Defying Gravity, not entirely sure what but sounded like she was out of time with the music, so she stopped and then came back in on "too late for second guessing...". Amazing recovery and performance though, one of the best endings I've heard her do.

i know niamh perry is auditioning although maybe that's for nessa?
i would have liked to have seen louise dearman tackle the role- but i believe she may be in with 9 to 5 lot.
not sure who else is up for the role of elphaba. i can mention a fair few who i'd see cover it but i think youre right on the take over.

I can imagine her as Elphaba - although i really really want Sabrina.
If Nikki leaves it will be interesting to see who will be the new Standby

I imagine lots of people will have auditioned for Elphaba though .
