Yes, last month. So far, I prefered Louise, but I'm seeing next week because I've only ever seen Rachel Tucker. So I'm excited.

It's always nice to see someone new in a role although, for me, Rachel is a better Elphaba than Nikki, much stronger vocally but Nikki is decent enough.  Rachel is the best Elphaba I've seen out of her, Kerry Ellis, Shona White, Alexia Khadime, Mandy Gonzales and Nikki Davis-Jones.  They've all been good though. Kerry was my least favourite as she always rushed songs, sounded bored a lot of the time and was the weakest actress.

Very interesting to read this, as I completely disagree. In my opinion, Nikki is the best Elphie London's ever had! Yes Rachel's voice may be a bit more powerful than Nikki's, but Nikki's overall portrayal of 'Elphaba' is far more detailed and believable than Rachel's! Nikki literally acts every single second of the show, I've never seen acting as strong as Nikki's in the role of Elphaba. She really connects with the character, I think. And I actually find Nikki's voice more appealing than Rachel's, personally!

I agree that Nikki's acting is very good but her voice is not powerful enough even if it is a nice voice. She is a strong standby but I don't think she's strong enough for full time Elphaba.

Rachel is my favourite london Elphaha

Didn't think too much of Kerry Ellis, personally didn't get all the hype about her.

When Kerry was in it I didn't think anyone would top her in my opinion....then I saw Rachel and looking back realised that actually what I loved about Kerry was her voice, and that's what was making me go back, not her portrayal of the character. With Rachel not only is her voice amazing but I find her portrayal and her acting mesmerising, I feel like I'm watching Elphaba not 'Rachel singing the big Wicked songs'. I don't know if that makes sense, it does in my head, but it's hard to write! I have seen other Elphaba's too but Rachel is my favourite :)
