Northern Stage have come up with an interesting but risky idea of offering no strings money back guarentees (and you can see the whole show before you claim it). Let's hope they get the honest audience reactions they deserve.

The thing that made me laugh about his article was someone saying that there is aperception that £7.00 is a lot to pay for theatre! In most West End theatres a glass of wine costs nearly £7!Sebastian

It's interesting that people consider £7 a lot to pay for a theatre ticket at Northern Stage, the weekend just gone I paid £33 a seat at the Newcastle Theatre Royal and they were restricted view! Not that far off London prices!

yes but that ticket at the theatre royal must have been for the opera not a play or musical production
