Good to see the show back in London, might have to try and score some tickets.  I saw the show about 6 times when it was at the Noel Coward, I don't think anyone will be able to better Julie Atherton's Kate Monster for me...I saw the touring version about a year ago in Canterbury, was a good show, but not quite the same!

I dunno, I remember Rachel Jerram being pretty damn awesome in that role.

Chris Thatcher also = incredible

I thought the 2nd tour cast was the best I'd seen (having seen a London cast, think with Daniel Boys, first tour, 2nd your and off-Broadway this summer). Katherine Moraz's was pretty much perfect for me as Kate, having seen her as Mrs T/Yellow Bear the previous year, and I agree Chris Thatcher was fantastic. And Sam Lupton was much better than Adam Pettigrew, in my opinion.

I'll also add here, so as not to cause a debacle like in the desperately seeking the exit ad thread, that I am part of the Upstairs at the Gatehouse revival team. I won't say in what capacity so people can comment as freely as possible on the show, when we start performances on Thursday.

I didn't see the second touring cast so can't comment, but having seen the London production and first touring cast many times, I have to say I really liked Rachel Jerram and Adam Pettigrew. To me, they were perfect as 'Kate Monster' and 'Princeton'. Looking forward to seeing this cast though - will be odd in such a small venue.
