Really looking forward to seeing this. Seen Judi Dench in many great roles - Absolute Hell, Amy's View etc but she hasn't had a really decent stage role in years. Ben Wishaw is my favourite Hamlet ever. Hoping this combination will deliver something brilliant

Hello

I’ve got two tickets that I’m unable to use. Anyone like to buy them at face value?
Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 7.30pm
Royal Circle A1 – A2 – I haven’t sat in the seats but apparently for a perfect view of the stage you need to lean forward.

27.50 each
2 booking fee
1 restoration levy

Which is a total of £61 for the pair. Message me if you are interested

Many thanks

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

I never purchase drinks in the interval at theatres anymore - the prices are just OUTRAGEOUS! If I am desperate for a drink I usually eye up a nearby pub for a swift G&T in the interval. But I like shows which play straight through although the theatre owners must hate the lack of drink profits.

Producers have to pay a penalty if the show has no interval, to compensate for the lack of bar takings. It was £1000 per show in 2006, no idea if that's changed. I imagine it has increased.

By per show do you mean per show/ performance (as in 8 times a week)? If so, wow.
2013 Theatre: Shrek the Musical (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane)  : The Ladykillers (UK tour at Curve)  Quartermaine's Terms (Wyndham's)  The Audience (Gielgud)  The Mousetrap (St. Martin's)  Old Times x2 (Harold Pinter)   Peter and Alice (Noel Coward).

Yes, 8 times a week. £8000 a week for not having an interval. That's why Death & The Maiden's recent revival ended up putting one in, to lower its running costs when ticket sales were so poor.

Mrs Lovett, why didn't you just bring a flask with you in the first place?
