Hello WOS,
For now the fourth time, one mf my mini-movie epics is up for Empire film magazine's Done in 60 Seconds award.
Please vote for us with Robocop in 60 seconds, here: http://www.empireonl...wards2013/diss/
Lots of very theatrical chums in there too!
Many thanks. Voting closes 27 February, so only a week away!
Here are the details of the last couple of years:

I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

Sadly I had to cut out my own cameo in my film due to time reasons, but my brother's version of You Only Live Twice (with lots of the voices and lots of the jokes by me) is also a finalist.

I was actually on the writing staff of the RoboCop TV series in the mid 90s so I looked at this with RoboVision. I'd say you got everything but the smarmy TV News team - a crucial element. I voted for you anyway.

Thank you very much, Mallardo.
Yes, you have to make some cuts to get things down to 60 seconds. Sadly the framing device of the news team didn't make it into the script stage.
I wish I'd have got the "going round the abandoned house" sequence in, but sadly that was not to be either.

You had many very nice touches. I must say I LOVED the Old Detroit sign - twinned with Croyden!

Thank you for the kind words, Mallardo. Yes, the guy playing Clarence ("Can you fly, Bobby") is actually a sign-writer, so that was a special. That shot filmed on Dingwall Road in Croydon.
Last chance to vote tonight, everyone! Please vote for number 10!
