I did not see the 2010 London production so I cannot comment on it myself, though having a general read through of reviews there seemed to be criticisms that the production was too long. Rachel Wagstaff has now revised the play so that Stephen Wraysfield now has flashbacks of his visit to the Azuire family, which keeps the pace going during a 2 hour and 40 minute production. The story was digestible and it almost had me crying by the end.Together with a great cast and some wonderful designs, this was a perfect start to 2013.
I wholeheartedly recommend this at a Low Full Price

This is coming to my local in June, so will catch it after your recommendation. I too missed Nunn's production at the (then) Comedy in 2010.
