Can't find a thread on this, but it is a smashing alternative to panto. A really lovely couple of young leads steal the show, Mark Anderson as the adorable but dim prince and Jenny O'Leary as his unlikely tomboy love interest. I really can't believe how the Union keep up their production values like they do, there is admittedly only piano accompaniment but that matters not one jot when you leave those railway arches full of the festive spirit and with a huge grin on your face. A bit more on the blog, but nothing not covered here http://www.frontrowd...tre-sunday.html

Agreed. Saw this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a slight piece but full of wit and humour and the score is really quite fine. The two leads were terrific as was the quirky choreography. Mark Anderson (Dauntless) will be going into The Book of Mormon. He'll be perfect for it.
