Hi there! My first post. Just wanted to say I saw Marti in Blood Brothers and he was awful. His 'scouse' accent was very Scottish and he had the mic so close to his mouth everything came out very loud and muffled. I kept thinking it was the sound department's fault but a friend who works at the theatre told me it was Marti himself who had insisted on the mic being so close. I've seen most of the touring stuff he's done, some good, some not so good and I do think he needs to get some acting lessons.
Having said that, another friend who hadn't seen Blood Brothers before thought he was ok. Maybe I picked a bad night :-(
