Peter Hall at Bath

Newly announced Peter Hall season at Bath looks tedious in the extreme - interested to know how the funding for that works, is it subsidised or purely commercial ? Hope his seasons at Kingston are better.

You mentioned Kingston - I walked past the building yesterday and it still looked far from finished - although the windows had been screened off.  There is a notice announcing a 2007 opening.

Yes, what a snore of a season.  Although I would relish the opportunity to see Tim Piggot-Smith's Higgins.  Some "interesting" choices of directors too.  Not a fan of Hall or Strachan and Cordelia Monsey seems to have been given a big break after assisting Hall on his previous work.  Rachel O'Riordan seems a good choice for Animal Farm, though.

See the News section for deatils. At first I thought that by mistake they had reprinted one of his National Theatre seasons from 1985.
