Swings and roundabouts.
I've got 5 £12 tickets for People. not all together but same night. Me, 2 friends my Dad and his partner and I'm looking forward to it. I've also got friends planning to come down from York to see Othello and that would be 2 for them and 2 for me and Mrs1981 so that will likely mean we end up in the £30 pound seats for that Travelex show. And if Mrs1981 and my main theatre going buddy want to see the same show then I'll have to pick between them...
But, a lot of the time I'm just getting 2 tickets, so if this makes it easier to get those 2 tickets then I'm for it. As long as it applies to all levels of membership of course.
Edit: Just re-reading and I note that Travelex shows are exceluded so scratch my comments about Othello.

If, for some strange reason you care what I've seen, it's all here:

It is difficult, isn't it, and as we've seen recently with the new Donmar and Royal Court/The River booking schemes, it's impossible to satisfy everyone.
I still feel that as an Advance member, my membership is useless if I can't buy even one single seat for any performance/any date for the few plays of my choice, but take the points made by those above who do wish to take a partner or introduce a potential new customer. It's particularly true (I am also a pensioner) that the step between the £12 seats and the next price up is too steep and makes anything else unaffordably expensive - maybe the NT could address this issue, too? I'd be very willing to pay a little more, and for slightly more legroom, but indeed, never £47!

So, its probably off to another theatre for our little get togethers. £22 at Hampstead seems reasonable!

The Bush now charges £19.50 standard, with an offer to see 3 shows for the price of 2 (so £13 each) when booked at the same time before 1 December.

Indeed! Booked. Scarily I was at Uni in 1983....the year in question!
I've just booked too. But I was not at uni then, not even conceived...
S'pose I'd fail the test for this production then. Now waiting for Honoured Guest to confiscate my tickets.

Accepting the possibility of reincarnation, Pharaoh's number 2 may have also have been a university student in 1983.

Important! Didn't realise that you can still have more than 2 tickets for Port as well as Travalex!
