Just so I don't clog up the Victor/Victoria topic anymore I pose the question... What are the best musicals you've ever seen on the fringe?
Mine are:
Mack & Mabel @ Southwark Playbouse
Austentatious @ The Landor
Pippin @ Menier Chocolate Factory
Bright Lights, Big City @ Hoxton Hall

Parade at the Southwark Playhouse was amazing, in particular thanks to its terrific cast.

Marguerite at the Tabard, Ragtime at the Landor, Floyd Collins and The Busybody at Southwark Playhouse, Jekyll & Hyde at the Union, Betwixt at the Trafalgar are some fairly recent Fringe productions I really liked.

I only saw the 2009 UK tour but judging by the promo footage, Little Shop of Horrors looked excellent at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Would have loved to have been that close to the plant and also see Sheridan Smith and Alistar McGowan's performances.

Top of the list has to be Thrill Me - Tristan Bates, but agree with Bright Lights Big City at Hoxton, Parade, Mack & Mabel, Floyd Collins at Southwark.

Glad to see people remember Bright Lights, Big City at Hoxton Hall - that really was a great production.
Also Parade and, especially, Floyd Collins at Southwark Playhouse.
Lucky Stiff at the Landor.
Bells Are Ringing, Bernarda Alba, The Baker's Wife, and, most recently, Call Me Madam at the Union.
Does the Menier count as Fringe? If so, then The Last Five Years, Sweet Charity and Road Show.
