Members of the new revivals creative team will fly out to manilla in november to hold open auditions

Wonder what theatre it'll go into? My guess would be The Prince Edward with Jersey Boys moving or closing or the London Palladium although if Cameron Mackintosh is producing then the Prince Edward is more likely.

But how wonderful! Since it's Cameron, I think we can expect Sam Barks as Ellen ... which will be nice, especially as Sam sang I Still Believe with the original Ellen, Claire Moore, at the Dress Circle Benefit Gala. Ramin Karimloo might be thrown in as well, either as Chris or John (If he is, it'll be John as he is too heavily tattooed to be Chris).

Chris-Ramin was Chris on tour some years ago.Would he do it again?He seems to be trying to move away from "legit" musical theatre roles as well.It's excellent news anyway!

They can always cover tattoos up though.

I assume he would want to be Chris if any role. However, Ramin did tweet some time ago about doing a world tour with Lea Salonga next year though, so don't know if he would do it.

Could definitely see Joanna Ampil as Kim and Daniel Boys as Chris - ala Night of 1000 Voices.

I saw Joanna Ampil when she played Kim 10 years ago and she was great but don't think she'd get away with playing a 17 year old again. Kim will probaby be an unknown from Manila. Exciting though

Is this definite? Would so love it to be true.
So absolutely loved Simon Bowman as Chris. Would love to see Gareth Gates playing the part in any revival. He does Why God Why so extremely well
Not sure who could play Kim. Lea Salonga was my all time favourite. Just loved her and have seen her a few times.
