This is being announced today apparently, but to friends only (which at £40 a pop, I will not be joining). Anyway, if anyone is a friend, would they care to share the details of the season on here please?

It's been emailed out, so someone should know. Someone tweeted about Di and Viv and Rose, but the Hampstead Theatre promptly told them to shut up. Don't see why they can't announce it to everyone, and only let friends book, like is normal practice- it may even encourage new people to join, if the shows are good.

If only Julian Assange was on the mailing list, we'd know by now
Crazy marketing strategy - as mentioned earlier, announce the shows and they might get some people to join for priority booking!

The other side of the coin is often demonstated in this forum by RSC Members whingeing that they're not personally informed of every dribble of information before it's publicly announced. Often, Friends appreciate advance notice of the programme before the press announcement. As a Friend of another arts body, I've found it a little thrilling to be handed a press release embargoed until some future date and time.

Amused that Edward Hall has broken his own embargo
