Crazy for you, spent ALOT on advertising, that theatre is expensive and it hardly ever covered its weekly running costs

As per 'show accounts'  if you're an investor you get management accounts for the production hence you know the true financial position, in the US all show accounts are available to the public

I thought you would have known that armadillo, it was called 'murderous instincts'.  
it was at the Savoy and the director/choreographer a very talented Michael Rooney  didn't resign half way thru, his work permit hadn't been applied for so he had to direct it from Paris!

Leonardo at the Novello theatre was financed from bird shit, the island of Nauru whose main income was made from this,  put up 2 million pounds to finance the show that closed in five weeks

I know Bernadette which was at the Dominion and also Fields of Ambrosia at the Novello were both flops. The Novello had probably had the same number of flops as the Shaftesbury and the Piccadilly. Do certain theatres seem to attract more flops than hits due to their location and size?
