Completely hypothetically I'd say David Thaxton but I don't know enough about the musical, I've only watched the original film (and going by that I can imagine neither Ramin Karimloo nor Hadley Fraser in the part tbh).

TBH I'd be happy with any of these actors, Ramin, Hadley, Killian and David would all do fine jobs, I'm sure!
I'm just glad the production is happening!

I love her as a performer, but think she might be a bit too old for that part. The girl is supposed to be quite young, isn't she? Not that Madalena is old of course. :-)
She's not old at all!! Cristin Milloti (the girl who plays the part in Broadway) is 27, and I think Madalena has the same age...
By the way, Madalena is in the poll at the official website of Once...

Not at all convinced that is an official site.
"TheOnceMusical.com is not affiliated with bernard b. jacobs theatre or phoenix theatre london west end" reads weirdly, there's no mention of "site by __" as we are used to and I've never seen a production page have any kind of Google advertising placed on it (nor a poll for who should play a role).
Plus on http://theoncemusica...from-march-2013 it talks about "the latest information from insiders has now revealed that Once the musical will start at the Phoenix in March 2013, with some giving the date of March 20th for the beginning of previews for the show". No real website would talk about "the latest information from insiders", would it?

Does anybody know any performer who has already done (or is going to do) the auditions for the show? If you can't say the name, at least can you say if they are auditioning to West End actors and actresses? Thank you!

The official website oncemusical.co.uk is currently forbidden which means it'll be active in the next 24 hours.
Wonder when the deadline for the Oliviers will be as I imagine both Mormon and Once will be locked for nominations along with Viva Forever and The Bodyguard.

Olivier window is mid Feb to mid Feb so neither Mormon nor Once will qualify for the 2013 awards.
