My guess is it'll be cast here, the Broadway cast doesn't have any huge names that would help to sell it here, so they might as well avoid all the logistics of cast transfers and cast it locally.

I'm looking forward to it and the Phoenix is a good theatre for the show. 2013 is shaping up nicely with Book of Mormon, Charlie, A Chorus Line and now Once and that's just the first half of the year. I'm hoping Newsies comes over but I imagine it won't be until late 2013 or early 2014.

I heard from a friend who works at the Gielgud that it was supposed to open there but it must be because of the Chariots extension. Puts a close on the Starlight rumours though

The Audience is going into the Gielgud after Chariots, wonder if the producers of Once were offered a better deal by ATG to go into for the Phoenix.
