Saw the opening night of the tour tonight at Curve, Leicester.
*SPOILERS*.
Couldn't really tell it was their first time. All very impressive. Haven't seen the show before so I'm not sure if some things which looked like mistakes were intentional but handled very well.
Rufus Hound was great and captured the naivety that I saw James Corden have in the many clips I've seen of it. The 'fight scene' didn't quite seem as impressive as it could've been and it nearly didn't get an applause I think, which would've messed up the next joke.
I enjoyed The Craze, but not sure how other theatres would be able to house them at the sides of the stage as Curve has a very bid and wide forestage.
The stairs that I've heard a lot about in the much talked about dinner scene have been removed. There were two swinging doors there instead with new Lazzi (I imagine).
And they kept to the running time as well. Rufus Hound was very interactive and great with the audience/ improvisation parts, I thought.
Wouldn't see it again (although maybe in London for the stair 'routine') and I probably preferred 'Noises Off'.
Well done to all involved though.
2013 Theatre: Shrek the Musical (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane)  : The Ladykillers (UK tour at Curve)  Quartermaine's Terms (Wyndham's)  The Audience (Gielgud)  The Mousetrap (St. Martin's)  Old Times x2 (Harold Pinter)   Peter and Alice (Noel Coward).

I saw this at Curve tonight.
I knew very little about the show apart from that it's a comedy and involved a skiffle band.
I really enjoyed it, the audience were in hysterics for the majority of the show.
It's a nice old-fashioned farce really, and the slapstick stuff went down well. The actors all did a fabulous job!
I'm not sure if One Man Two Guvnors is a bit of a 1 time show though. Perhaps seeing it again would diminish the joke somewhat.
Was great to see though, I'm finally able to see what the fuss was about! :)
Also, the skiffle band were wonderful!

I saw it at the Curve yesterday - the production is solid however it isn't a patch on the original Lyttleton/Adelphi cast. The lack of stairs is obviously necessary to get it into most receiving houses however it does diminish that scene somewhat. I haven't got a cast list with me however the actors of Alan and Stanley steal the show, Hound does not have the same panache in the role which Corden or Matthew Woodyatt displayed when I saw them previously however I suspect he will grow into the role in the coming weeks.

Still need to see Owain Arthur sometime, must revisit the Haymarket.

Saw this in Glasgow last night. A large audience for a Wednesday.
This is the funniest play I've seen.
Catch the tour if you can. A great night's entertainment.
9/10
I can't think out of the box as I don't have a box to start with.

I saw it with the original cast at The Lowry Theatre, Salford (October 2011), and then at The Adelphi (January 2012).

In August I decided to forego an evening at Park Live for London 2012 just to see how Owain Arthur played the lead. Just as good!

And finally in Jan 2013 I'm looking forward to seeing Rufus Hound and Co. back at the Lowry.

No doubt I will be singing along (under my breath of course!) to "Ballad of Ted and Callista" or maybe just doing a discreet hand jive! And laughing my head off at all the on stage antics.
