One of my fave musicals and so glad I managed to see the first preview. It was possibly the most slick first preview ever and can only go up from here. The energy in that auditorium was incredible the second those dancer turned around and we hear 5,6,7,8 people were literally screaming. The cast were fantastic I would agree that the val could have been stronger but I believe this is her first big job so well done. Scarlett was truly amazing as cassie both physically and vocally she blew me away and got a standing ovation from Baayork Lee (who is the loveliest woman I have ever met).
I got day seats and was in row F the height was just about okay a little further back would have been slightly better I was right to the side which was annoying but not overly so.
The show is incredible and for once British dancers are really dancing and looking good again and it's about time the west end is long over due a show with this sort of standard fabulous everybody should see this amazing show.

It's great to read a thread on a new production of a musical jam packed with positivity. Gone from no interest to planning to see it once discounts start in 4 months instead.

It's a shame Cassies big number had such crappy choreography. I remember seeing Charlotte D'Amboise do it in the most recent revival and at the end I was totally underwhelmed... Not through her fault at all..

Does the cast look small? That's a big stage to fill and it looked small on paper to me.
