From the reviews this sounds scarily similar to the play at the NT a few years ago where people just walked round and round in a circle for two hours. Title and author has completely gone from my memory.

Oh dear, this was beyond me. It passed me by like a series of sketches on the Generation Game conveyor belt. At the end, I thought: Oh well, I can move on from Caryl Churchill now. Except I can't because I've already booked to see Ding Dong the Wicked. That will really have to be the last.

LOVED this!  Although I'll admit, four or five scenes in, to thinking 'oh dear - only sixty two more scenes to go - i'm going to be counting them down...', I was sucked in soon after and gripped to the very end.  A piece of theatre of great, poetic complexity - utterly devastated by the end.  Leaving aside "Venus in Fur" in New York, earlier in the year (which MUST transfer to London with urgency!), this was, for me, the play of the year - truly original, current and extraordinary.   Still thinking about it a week or so later....
