I'm sure I did read somewhere a while ago that Aled Jones said at one of his gigs that he's taking Chitty Chitty Bang Bang back there.

Ew.

But I doubt the Oliver! tour will stop there as Cameron would probably want it in one of his theatres (although the Prince Edward would probably be the only one it would fit in). Plus he's never brought anything into the west end after a tour as he'd probably want to do it on a full scale.

The Drury Lane?

I honestly think Finding Neverland is most likely for the Palladium.

The Drury Lane?

Cameron brought it there as it was one of Lionel Bart's regrets never to have a show there do he thought it would be perfect to make use of the giant stage.

Also would this make a good oppertunity for Spiderman to transfer? I know there is a whole topic on it but I can't be bothered to dig it up, but I think they should do what they did for Shrek by bringing over a cheaper and less complicated set (but keep the important flying stuff) that way the chances would be better for a good run.

I have a strong feeling it will be starlight express, It's the only time it's possible to bring it back as it could transfer easily from the current tour.. (just a guess) :-)

I think the Drury Lane is one of Cameron Mackintosh's favourite theatres, I think if RUG sell it, Cameron would be the frontrunner to buy it.

Starlight Express was rumoured to go to the Phoenix. I can't see them bringing back the FULL version so it wouldn't need a theatre as big as the Palladium.

I don't think we'll ever see the full scale starlight back in the west end due to costs but I do think it's the ideal arena show.

In terms of Finding Neverland, I know it has really got 'names' to draw Palladium audiences in for a long run, but I think the stage sizes are quite similar. In fact, I think Curve is bigger in some aspects (pros arch width).
Also Harvey Weinstein was on the radio today saying that, technically, Curve can do so many things that many other theatres can't do and that he's really surprised with it. I think he also said that it will certainly go to London and hopefully Broadway as well.
2013 Theatre: Shrek the Musical (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane)  : The Ladykillers (UK tour at Curve)  Quartermaine's Terms (Wyndham's)  The Audience (Gielgud)  The Mousetrap (St. Martin's)  Old Times x2 (Harold Pinter)   Peter and Alice (Noel Coward).
