I heard one time that Memphis was due to go into Savoy theatre this year, but has been cancelled due to Soul Sister? I don't know whether they have decided to move it to 2013 instead or not going ahead with it at all? Does anyone know anything? Cheers

Isn't Soul Sister only there for a limited period as it's going on tour? As far as I know Memphis is scheduled to come over but no idea when!

I hope not.  It'll be another US Musical that will die a sad death here.  Hairspray told the 60s race struggle story a lot better.  :-(

Memphis is supposed to be a fantastic musical, they have had so many Tony Awards and my friend went to see the show not long ago, she absolutely loved it! It will either be in the Shafesbury or Savoy theatre, hopefully it will come over here soon . Listen to the cast recording, it's breathtaking . x

I'd have to disagree, found the cast recording quite boring and the DVD wasa bit hit and miss

I loved it when I saw in February, but I'm not sure how popular it would be here, but you never know - stranger things have happened.

I think the film and cast recording is amazing, can't wait for it to come over there and the audiences will love it!!
