Does the Civil War get taught anymore? Genuine question. And I don't mean the Rockers v the Mods.

Did it in the past? I did History A-level back in Thatcher's Britain and we stopped just before the civil war. Though we didn't do WWII either which one is lead to believe they all spend about 5 years studying now. But I could tell you lots about the Repeal of the Corn Laws which most of my 0-level course was devoted to.

If an encyclopaedic knowledge of Jean Plaidy has taught me nothing else, I do at least know that there were three civil wars (perhaps more, depending on you definition) before the seventeenth century. And two of them never get talked about at all.
