Nah, Aaron Sidwell was in the WYP production.  Looks like he's been replaced by Stewart Clarke, who's just graduated from Warwick according to his website.

I worry that a show opening October 1st... where nobody knows what the plot is, what the songs are, or anyone in it really, and with a poster which doesn't exactly endear itself to the usual WASP theatre goer, a website that has nothing on it... and which didn't exactly set the world on fire in Leeds for one month (2/5 Daily Mail 3/5 The Guardian)... how will it fare when the theatre comes to look at how it's doing a few months in (top price tickets £70), when everyone is saving for Christmas, tax bills, or would rather see a panto

I'm left with the question... why should I see this?  I'm sure it'll be very nice, but...

I agree, and tickets seem quite pricy for it, something I'd be interested in seeing but not something I have to see.

When I asked at the theatre a couple weeks ago, they said they haven't decided yet.

Not sure where you are getting your pricing information from? Like all other shows these days, Premium seats are available at £65.00. Even shows that do offer premium seats never list their top price at the premium rate, so with Loserville the top price is £49.50 at weekends and £45.00 Mon - Thurs, which is a huge difference to you quoting top price at £70.00. These are very good prices for a West End musical and there are also also seats from £10.00 so I think this will be accessible to everyone without breaking the bank (or saving for Xmas as you say). It is a new, fresh musical and hopefully will be just what the West End needs instead of a revival that has been around for years.
