Apparently this'll feature a new production of To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sound of Music (a safer choice than Ragtime!).

Yay. I love the SoM and its perfect alfresco musical. Although it is quite soon after the recent Palladium version but none the less the news is making me very happy
Two more show still to be announced will it be a Shakespeare and something for the little ones?
What was the reason for only two productions this year? I’m guessing the cost of the renovations and that Timothy Sheader was busy directing Into the Woods in NY?

I think it was that as well as them being a bit cautious of attendances due to the Olympics (remember their £20.12 top price if bought before April offer?) and it's cheaper to employ one company in rep from March-Sept than three for shorter lengths of time.
