I thought the Olympic Opening Ceremony was fantastic! The opening ceremony in Beijing was undoubtedly impressive but I did feel that it was rather impersonal, wheras London's ceremony was culturally and, partially, historically focused, which I believe the ceremony should be. The scenes with Mr Bean and the Queen with James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) perfectly highlighted British humour to the world and I thought it was really something special.
