Hope Ross and the rest of the new cast are having a good show :)

Tbh i was only expecting they would have speeches, because WWRY and Wicked do ( the only cast changes i've been to). Then again Wicked seem to make a massive deal about their cast changes .....

Looking forward to seeing Ross sometime

saw the show tonight. maybe its best we give the newbies a chance to settle in. i found myself missing, amy, zizi, twinnie and mostly oli. ross just seems so out of place in that part. even when i saw jamies first show on for drew he was proper on it and rocking away.. ross just seems very stagey?
miss them.

A hell of a lot don't though, whilst it happens I wouldn't say its the norm

True. In my experience, very few shows actually do speeches on cast changes which is sad. I think it's nice to acknowledge the leaving cast even if its just a very brief mention at the end of a show.

Although not a speech, Simon said to Oli  on the Saturday matinee about him being in a musical and then said "but I hear you're leaving the show tomorrow to join the cast of We Will Rock You" and then mocked him for wanting to be in every rock show in town. It was a lovely moment, I was laughing so hard!

I'm gonna wait a few months for sure. I'm interested in hearing about how Leanne & Selina got on though...

Looking forward to seeing the new cast. Will miss the others for sure. Think its only fair to let the cast settle in for a bit its impossible to judge after one night.

Yes, speeches for cast changes are not normal things to do...

They're a regular enough occurrence, its certainly not an abnormal thing to happen.

Cordelia will be on as Regina tomorrow. I would love to see her, but I'm ill and it's just too soon!
