Thanks for the reply's about the running time. In the end I ended up going to see it as well.
As a Welsh man myself I really enjoyed it and thought the role was very much suited to Rob Brydon. Ashley was good and I was also pleasantly surprised to see Matthew Cottle in it. I used to love Game On. A very entertaining couple of hours. I was in row D on the right hand side so ideally placed for Rob's wanderings.

Just not a very good play I thought... must be very dated. Not very funny, and not much there other than comedy. Also seemed to be a lack of momentum in the direction. Quite disappointed actually!

Dated rather than period piece? Interesting. The Norman Conquests at the Old Vic a couple of years back - maybe longer- seemed firmly set in their time but fresh all the same.

Saw this for the second time on Saturday night. Thought it was really great (again). As a big Rob Brydon fan there is nothing not to like as far as I'm concerned. He's really good on stage, I wonder what he'll do next?!
