I dont yet have a 2013 calendar to mark them on, so I hope I dont double book myself later in the year.

We decided we didn't want to book anything for 2014 just yet.
I don't mind booking 18 months is advance when the tickets are only £10 each, as it doesn't make too big a hole in the bank balance, but there are limits!

That was bl hard work. You are not the only one. I thought online booking closed meant it for the whole website! Thanks Pn2 for seeing me through that one. I booked fro SRB of course and thought I had better book for Dame Judi too. Who knows who will be in better shape, me or her come next March. I'll leave the rest for now though no doubt Jude Law will be booked out v quickly. I wasn't so enamoured of his Hamlet so am not sweating on this one.

I'm H15 dress circle. Only booked 1 ticket for each, with the exception of Peter and Alice, for which I've got two. I'll take my Dame Judi fan of a gran with me.

It is tempting to make that comment but he was very good (albeit well-cast) in No Man's Land - I guess like James Corden the fact that many people don't like him might obscure the fact that maybe he can act on stage. Let's see. Sometimes these TV people turn out to be brilliant on stage (Mark Gatiss in The Recruting Officer for example).

I'm not intending to see any of these, although I'd go to any of them were they to tour to one of my local theatres. The first two in the season interest me much more than the last two, and I don't need to see The Cripple of Inishmaan again either..

I still think this season would be better with the stage adaption of Snakes on a plane and starring him out of Brookside and her from big brother ;-) but that aside WOW. Commercial, entertaining and interesting all at the same time. Grandage can really attract good quality stars.

Looks like a perfect audition piece for a job south of the river …

I'm not intending to see them either, mainly due to expense and the terrible theatre they are in - my interest would be in the last two but I think Grandage's Shakespeare productions have become a little old-fashioned and tired - a bit Peter Hall - of course with chamber pieces in a small space he is unsurpassed but his last West End season didn't really impress me that much either (as productions rather than star-turns).
