My problem is there really isn't anything I want to see in the season if I have to pay more than ten pounds for it

Tickets are coming up on agency sites with a £15+ booking fee, makes the £2 per ticket if you didnt book the lot look quite reasonable.

Thats the thing. I bought tickets for all the shows fully intending to go, but know that if I can't due to other circumstances then I'll be able to sell them on and more than make my money back,

I don't like doing this. I try to find a friend that can go and sell at face value. I ended up with lots of friends seeing Frankenstein due to a booking bonanza as I couldn't work out which weekend was best for a friend so bought 3 dates! Now lots of my friends and colleagues still talk about the production in hallowed tones!
It makes me feel happy to give tickets on at face value and see the smiles!

Oh yes I've done that before with my Anna Christie tickets I gave them to my parents. It can sometimes be difficult since my family don't live in London and neither do most of my friends now that Uni is finished they've all moved back home. Ive booked them all on Saturday evenings though so I should be fine. 2014 is a long way off though

I managed to sell on a Jerusalem ticket on eBay (couldn't find anyone who wanted to go solo) and ended up making a loss on it.. this was in the final weeks of the 2011 Apollo run.
Just shows informal touting doesn't always work!

I'm quite relieved that this season doesn't appeal to me as there's already so much to try to accommodate elsewhere. And my thanks to the Almeida on the same basis!
