correct - but they prove that swings do get paid more!

No it dosent, it states that the minimum for a swing is more, but a company could pay swings the minimum and other cast members more than the minimum swing rate. I'm not saying they do do that.

Actually jaqs is right. Especially in touring land. Not quite so sure about WE.
They are definitely paid a "additional payment" for being a swing, but this never assures they are paid more than other members of the company. Especially named parts / principals.
Also a swing is paid a "additional payment" however if other members of the company are understudies, they are paid an "additional payment" for every part they understudy each week. This could add up to more.
So sorry to say - in this sense, jacqs is totally right. And thats having my Company Manager Head on!
